Ginori Liberty Centerpiece

Ginori Liberty Centerpiece

Biscuit centerpiece, oval in shape, decorated on the outside with figures that animate it plastically.
At one end a female figure with flowing clothes as if inflated by the wind, dominates the composition in height and embracing the basin, seems to push it like a hull surrounded by drapes of fabric. Playful cherubs wrap themselves around and hang from these.  One of these, placed at the opposite end to the main figure, concludes the plastic group by assuming the position of a figurehead, and with its everted body seems to receive the push and indicate the progression.
