Galileo Chini Pourer

Galileo Chini Pourer

Majolica pourer with an ovoid body, a ribbon-shaped handle, and a triangular spout decorated with a distinctly Art Nouveau floral and geometric motif, framing two oval basins on either side. The faces depicted—a faun among bunches of grapes and a nymph among sunflowers—can also be interpreted as allegorical representations of Winter and Summer.
