Porcelain snuffbox with a gilt bronze chiseled lid. The base features a bas-relief decoration derived from the ornamental designs of the Viennese manufactory Du Paquier’s “laub bandelwerk,” consisting of leaf motifs, intertwined ribbons, and cartouches in a lattice pattern, painted in violet, iron red, green, and gold, enhanced by four figurines of armor and soldiers. The bottom is painted with the figure of a naked Venus in iron red.
