Melandri Two-Handled Vase

A flattened globular vase with a short cylindrical neck from which two symmetrical arched handles branch, decorated with painted oval tablets.
The body is entirely decorated with a stylized plant motif, with sinuous tendrils and heart-shaped or lanceolate leaves, painted in shades of ochre, iron brown, and light pink highlights on a warm, honey-amber background.
Faenza;  late 1920s.
