Plate “Al Fruttino” – Doccia

Plate “Al Fruttino” – Doccia

Porcelain plate with a shaped rim and a body featuring four series of undulating and parallel ridges that radiate from the center towards the rim, decorated in relief with a mat pattern, a design used in Meissen since 1735.
The polychrome decoration is known as “A fiori sparsi e frutti,” commonly referred to as “Al Fruttino,” featuring insects, various fruits, and flowers gathered in small bouquets.
Three golden fillets, from the cavetto to the rim, divide the plate into concentric bands.
Doccia, Sesto Fiorentino (FI), 1785.
