Doccia plate with Isola Marana coat of arms

Doccia plate with Isola Marana coat of arms

Flat plate with scalloped brim, shaped into eight sectors, gilded along the edge and decorated in red and green with Viennese-inspired motifs. The noble coats of arms of the Ligurian families Isola and Marana stand out in the center, inserted within a rich composition with purple scrolls and polychrome floral shoots, surmounted by a marquis’ crown. A few painted insects placed scattered between the coats of arms and the brim complete the decoration.
