A pair of monumental ornamental majolica vases, with a bulging baluster body, tapering to a wide, flared mouth, supported by a tripartite base and animated by fantastical figures of griffins or lions.
The surface is richly decorated in polychrome with Raphaelesque motifs on a white background, while the neck of the vase is embellished with anthropomorphic masks and garlands in relief.
