Vase “Monza 69” – Guido Andloviz

Vase “Monza 69” – Guido Andloviz

Large decorative vase in hard earthenware, ovoid in shape with a flared neck, decorated in shades of black, manganese brown, and red iron with eight independent allegorical scenes depicting female figures reclining on suspended islands, pomegranate and olive trees, scrolls with Latin inscriptions, fantastical architecture, and a three-masted sailing ship. The composition, characterized by a concise and stylized Art Deco style, combines Art Nouveau influences, references to Japanese prints, and references to Etruscan art, creating an atmosphere suspended between symbolism and poetic fantasy.
