A large, rectangular-section vase in earthenware, characterized by a monumental form of rigorous geometric simplicity, with slightly convex sides, broadly rounded corners, and a narrow longitudinal opening at the top. The surface is entirely coated in crystallized green glaze, in shimmering shades from aquamarine to turquoise, enlivened by irregular thickenings and vertical drips that accentuate the material quality and contrast with the purity of the form.

Model 2415, designed by Guido Andloviz, was presented by the Società Ceramica Italiana at the 7th Milan Triennale in 1940 and documented that same year in the magazine “La Ceramica“; contemporary sources attest to its production in two different sizes. This example belongs to the monumental version and documents the model’s continued production fifteen years after its presentation, testifying to the longevity of a form in which Andloviz’s research achieves a particularly radical synthesis of volume, surface, and color.
