A large majolica centerpiece featuring four bowls arranged on a shaped base, interspersed with modeled figures of young tritons seated and raising a shell to their lips. Rising from the central body is an elaborate, sculptural arrangement of scrolls, leaves, and fruit. The composition is designed with a convertible structure: the central bowl can be topped directly by a pinecone finial or—via a dedicated majolica fitting—accommodate a tall, removable tendril-style candelabra, featuring sinuous candle-bearing arms and crowned by the same pinecone. This design allows for two configurations, enabling the piece to be used either with or without the upper candle-holding element. The decoration, painted predominantly in blue against a light blue ground in the style of Savona majolica, alternates floral and foliate motifs with small figurative scenes on the sides of the bowls.

The model is precisely documented in the 1895 Cantagalli Manufactory catalog (item no. 896) under the historical name “Flower-holding centerpiece with tendril” (*Centro portafiori con viticcio*).
