Gio Ponti “Triumphal Chariot” Vase

Large majolica vase with a flattened body on a flared oval base and a pronounced lip, entirely painted in jade green enamel and decorated on the front with a bas-relief inspired by ancient iconography depicting a winged figure (Victory) waving a banner while driving a chariot drawn by two horses.
